Follow a form response

Send the project form, check its receipt, and review the same answers in the owner view.

Before you begin

Browser example

This example works in your browser without an account. Use made-up project details. Responses stay in this tab for the current session; no enquiry or email is sent. Browser storage must be available for the example to save.

  1. Fill in the project form

Open the form example below. Enter “Project name”, choose “Website”, “App” or “Website and app” under “What are you building?”, then describe a goal in “What should it help people do?”. All three fields are required.

  2. Send and check the receipt

Select “Send example response”. Check the on-screen receipt before continuing. If a required field is empty, complete it and send again. A receipt means the example response was saved in this tab.

  3. Open the owner view

Select “View in owner dashboard” in the receipt. Under “Form responses”, select your project response and compare its answers with what you entered. The form title and question labels are kept as they were when you sent it.

  4. Mark the response as reviewed

Select “Mark as reviewed” and check for “Reviewed”. You can use “Mark as new” to return it to “New”. Send another response to see how the owner list separates the records.

What you should see

One submitted response appears in the owner list with the same three answers. Its review state changes when you mark it as reviewed. This owner example contains only the activity you create in this tab.

If something goes wrong

To start again, select “Reset example responses”, read the confirmation, and select the same action again to confirm. This clears all example responses and the current form entries; website edits are kept. If storage is blocked or unreadable, allow it and reset the example before retrying. The example holds up to 20 responses.

Technical detail

The participant receipt and owner list read the same session record. Sending captures the form title, question labels and answers, so later form edits do not rewrite an earlier response. These examples use browser session storage and do not create a production form submission.
