Build with Kottoko.
Kottoko is a starter project for websites and apps. It brings together pages, accounts, forms, and online store features so you can customize them instead of building each one from scratch.

Change the text, colors, corners, and spacing. Your demo edits stay in this browser; they do not change the public website.

Try a visitor form, then see the response in the example dashboard. No email is sent from this example.

How the parts fit together.
Design controls
Adjust colors, type, corners, and spacing in the editor. Shared styles keep your pages and controls consistent.
User accounts
Let people sign up, sign in, verify their email, and recover access. Keep account-only pages separate from public pages.
Products and payments
Bring product listings, checkout, orders, and access to purchases together. A real store needs a payment provider; the checkout on this website is an example.
Dashboard
Give people one place to manage their profile, orders, membership, and account security. Website managers can also access the tools their role allows.
Reusable blocks
Build pages from prepared sections such as forms, product displays, and account panels. They use the same components and design settings as the rest of the website.
Connected workflows
Connect the steps of a task, such as submitting a form and reviewing its response, or placing an order and finding it in an account.
Demonstration and waitlist
- Explore the website and its interactive previews without an account.
- Join the free email list for product and launch updates.
- Downloads and purchases are not open yet.
- Example orders, forms, and edits stay in your browser.
Planned for the first release
These features are planned for the first downloadable release. Choose the ones your project needs. You can try examples on this website today, but the product is still in development and downloads and purchases are not open yet.
What you will be able to do
Build a website, a store, or an app using connected features. Each group below explains what it adds to your project.
Create and manage a project
Customize pages and design in the editor, manage work in a dashboard, and control who can make changes. Reusable components, account roles, client handover, and update and recovery tools support the project as it grows.Publish and find content
Create pages and articles, organize images and files, and collect form responses. Review and schedule content before it goes live, and help visitors find it with search.Sell products and memberships
Create a store or offer paid access to content. Manage products, orders, billing, and member access, with options for guest checkout and moving product catalogs in or out of the store.Promote and fulfill orders
Offer discounts and sell products that a print-on-demand service makes and ships for you. Connections to Printify, Gelato, and Printful are planned; real orders require provider setup and testing.Communicate and grow
Send newsletters to subscribers, invite people to join, and let members refer others. Affiliate tools and optional rewards help you recognize participation while keeping email consent separate.Operate with control
Understand visits and activity, review notifications, and connect other services. Control which tracking tools are enabled and introduce changes gradually instead of showing them to everyone at once.
Plan your own website or app.
This is a planning guide for the upcoming downloadable product. There is nothing to install yet. Kottoko includes the starting code; launching a real project will still require setup, testing, and someone to maintain it.
Decide what people will do
Start with a goal: read your articles, browse your work, buy a product, or use an app. Choose the features that support that goal.
Make the content and design yours
Prepare your pages, images, products, and brand. Replace example content and check the result on phones as well as larger screens.
Arrange hosting and a domain
Hosting runs your website; a domain is its address. Ask a developer to set up the application, database, file storage, secure connections, and backups.
Connect the services you need
Email needs a sending service. Selling needs a payment provider. Print-on-demand needs a fulfillment provider. Each service has its own account, setup, and possible fees.
Test before you invite visitors
Check navigation, forms, account access, email delivery, and any checkout flow. Review privacy information and accessibility for your actual content and services.
Keep the project working
Decide who will install updates, monitor failures, answer customer requests, and test that backups can be restored.
Do I need a developer?
You can try the previews here without writing code. Running your own copy requires technical setup. If you are new to hosting and application development, plan to work with a developer. A coding agent can help with implementation, but the project still needs someone to review, test, and maintain it.
For developers.
Kottoko uses PHP and Laravel for the application, React and Inertia for interactive interfaces, Tailwind CSS and shadcn-compatible primitives for presentation, SQLite for simple local work, and PostgreSQL in production. The downloadable product is intended to remain self-hostable and independent of required paid platforms.
